About Me:
I was born in Liverpool at a time when the Beatles were becoming famous. My family moved to the Wirral on the “posh” side of the river Mersey when I was eleven. I attended the local girls’ grammar school, going on to college where I graduated with a Medical Secretarial Diploma.

In 1980 I moved to Scotland. I spent the next twenty years living in a croft on the outskirts of a village in the Highlands, and while there, managed a company involved in the offshore oil industry.

In October 2000, I moved to South Yorkshire, and until recently, I worked for the National Health Service.

I started writing my first novel, Three Weeks Last Spring, in 2000, but didn’t complete it until 2004. It was published in 2005 and is due to be re-released by Vanilla Heart Publishing in June 2009.

My second novel, The House on the Shore, has recently been released by Vanilla Heart. I am currently working on a third novel, Ring of Lies.

I am a member of the Romance Writers of America and the Romantic Novelists Association.

My Novels.

When Anna MacDonald leaves Edinburgh to find peace in the Scottish Highlands, she gets a twofold surprise: a lost sailor teaches her to love again…while a mysterious stranger has plans to kill her.

Passed over for promotion by her boss—and boyfriend, Anna walks off the job in anger. But being reactionary has its price. Now she can no longer afford the rent on her Edinburgh apartment. So she retreats to the only place she has ever felt happy – her grandmother's croft on the edge of a Highland loch. With no phone or neighbours, and only two border collies for company, Anna sets out to finally achieve her lifelong dream; to write—and sell—the novel that has burned within her for years. Luke Tallantyre, a renowned Cape Cod artist, has sailed across the Atlantic to escape an artistic dry spell—and come to terms with his dangerous past. When his yacht develops a problem he drops anchor in Loch Hourn. He rows ashore, and knocking on the door of the croft, asks to use the telephone, but the reception he receives is less than welcoming – in fact it's downright frosty.

Anna resents the cranky American’s intrusion to her seemingly idyllic life. Luke thinks she’s an ill-mannered hermit. But an unseen assassin is after one of them. So they unwillingly join forces and embark on an adventure neither ever imagined…including a chance at true love.

Skye Dunbar needs to get away from London to put a disastrous affair behind her. When she rents a small cabin in Washington State’s San Juan Islands, the last thing she expects is to be accused of computer hacking. Marine biologist Jedediah Walker is called in to investigate the large number of dead marine life being washed up on the islands beaches. And he has another problem – an unexpected, beautiful and suspicious new tenant renting his cabin. When Walker discovers that the fish contain a high concentration of toxic chemicals, he suspects that the chemicals are being deliberately dumped in Puget Sound. And later, when someone hacks into his computer, he realises it is no coincidence and sets out to find out more about his mysterious new tenant.
However, Skye doesn’t like Walker from the moment she lays eyes on him. He feels the same. But that’s about to change.
