I forgot something (that's usual for me.) Think about adding stories to your recipes. When I started typing my recipes into the computer I started remembering things from my past. They were things such as why I don't eat raw tomatoes. That's a funny story. I remembered when I made my now x a birthday cake and held it together with toothpicks and forgot to take them out. As I remembered these stories I started adding them to the recipes. Everyone seems to get a laugh from actually "reading" my cookbook.
Cooking is one of the best ways to express yourself and show someone that you care. I live in a condo and most of us here are either retired or close to it. Several of my neighbors have a parent living with them. I especially love older people. They have so much to offer if we would just listen to them. Whenever one of these beautiful people gets sick or just doesn't feel good, I cook them up a sweet treat and they seem to feel much better. I'm so glad to hear you are working on a cookbook.
