I'm just an ol' country boy from the hills of West Virginia (where the term "redneck" originated). Somewhere along the way the Lord saw fit to bless me with a few talents. Writing was one of them, or so I've been told.
After a few aborted attempts at writing short stories, in the early years, I gravitated to screenwriting (I hold an MFA in screenwriting). The idea of writing a book was simply too overwhelming, too intimidating. Oddly enough, when I finally worked up the audacity to sit down and write a book, it turned out to be a non-fiction piece dealing with religion.
I also write screenplays and teach film production, as an adjunct, at the University of Miami. When not writing or teaching, I operate a small video production company.
Thank you for the befriending me. Your book looks interesting, certainly the title is an attention grabber. From your background, it looks like you are using all the talents bestowed on you.
It's always a pleasure to meet another southerner. I look forward to learning more about you and what you do.
