About the Author:
Maria Grazia Swan is a writer and Realtor based in Phoenix, Arizona. When her house was burned down by a stalker in 1998, she became an advocate for the safety of people living alone. As a result, she began getting more single clients in her real-estate business. Soon after that, she began hosting singles parties and is now responsible for bringing together a number of happy couples.
Swan is a columnist for the online magazine Single for Now .She has also written a monthly column for singles in Life in Southern California, a magazine based in Orange County. She has been featured several times in The Arizona Republic and is the winner of an award from the Women’s National Book Association.
Swan immigrated to the United States from Italy in 1969. She is the divorced mother of two and grandmother of two.
